FRI FORM
FRI FORM'S EXCLUSIVE AND TIMELESS TERRACE FURNITURE
IS THE RESULT OF ELSA STACKELBERG'S SIMPLE AND ELEGANT DESIGN
FROM THE EARLY 1960s
Even today, more than 50 years since the beginning, Fri Form continues to produce Elsa Stackelberg's iconic furniture with the ambition of offering quality-conscious furniture lovers something for both body and eye — timeless and elegant outdoor furniture with a minimalist design language and high quality.
Elsa Stackelberg was born in 1929 in Norway, and her career in design began with an artistic education at Konstfack in Oslo. After completing her studies and as her children grew older, she started designing clothes.
Among her creations was a skirt that became very popular and was sold at Märthaskolan and NK.
After a while, Elsa decided to change direction, and in the 1960s, she started her own small carpentry workshop. Her husband handled the technical aspects, local carpenters managed production, and Elsa provided the clean and classic design.
The timeless design is just as relevant today, and the continuity ensures that it can always be complemented. The quality is high, and the details are well thought out. The classic outdoor furniture is available in different styles to meet the demands of all conscious pleasure-seekers.
Teak, classic elegance in solid teak.
Alu, maintenance-free aluminum – white, gray, or black lacquer.
Redwood, the original, durable and enduring in a classic, natural look.
Fri Form also offers parasols, storage boxes, and cushions in classic colors.
